The Process

​

Our puppies are sold as pets only on a spay/neuter contract unless specific arrangements are made.

​

 The breeder holds first pick of a puppy on all litters. If we choose not to keep a puppy, the pick of the litter may become available for $500 extra. If you are interested in a pick of the litter spot, please message us and we will make note. Pick of the litter spot is given completely at breeder's discretion.

 

Steps to purchasing your puppy 

  • Check out the puppy pages for info on current and upcoming litters.

  • Contact us with any questions you may have.

  • Fill out the puppy application and wait to be contacted by the breeder. (We like to get to know our puppy families, so we'll schedule a time to talk on the phone.)

  • Once application is accepted we will contact you, and with a non-refundable $300 deposit, one of our puppies will be waiting to join your family. This deposit will be applied towards the price of your puppy, or if you wish, may be moved to a future litter. Your puppy price will be guaranteed for two years from receipt of your deposit. 
     

  • When puppies arrive, breeder will contact families in the order deposits were received to fill spots on each litter. Breeder will work with families to help match them to the most suitable puppy for their lifestyle. 
     

  • Puppy Pick-up Day! When puppies are eight weeks old, each family will come at a  scheduled time to get their puppy. Once remaining puppy balance is received in cash or online and contract is signed, the puppy will be yours!
     

  • Most families come to our farm to pick up their puppies, but for our out-of-state families we work with Delifurry (www.Delifurry.com) to transport.

Payment Options

​

NON-REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT:  Upon approval of your application, you will receive an emailed invoice for a $300 deposit. By submitting your deposit, you agree and confirm understanding that this deposit is non-refundable once paid. By receiving your deposit, Moccasin Creek agrees to secure your place on our waiting list, and will guarantee your puppy price for two years. Moccasin Creek reserves the right to cancel the purchase and refund your deposit at any time for any reason. Your deposit may be transferable to a future litter at Moccasin Creek's discretion.

PUPPY BALANCE:  You may pay your balance online by the due date stated on your invoice (3.5% credit card fee will apply), or with cash on the day you receive your puppy. No personal checks!

​

WISCONSIN SALES TAX:  A 5 1/5% sales tax will be included on all puppy balances.
